CASABLANCA CHICKEN #healthy #dinner

This Casablanca chicken is one of my preferred dishes from a nearby family-claimed Mediterranean eatery in Minnesota. Ansari's Mediterranean Restaurant is little, comfortable and offers tasty dishes from everywhere throughout the Mediterranean. This chicken dish is uniquely made for garlic sweethearts such as myself. It is pressed with enhance and easy to make. Presently, I don't know what cut of the chicken Ansari's decides for this dish. However, I will utilize chicken thighs.

Obviously, you can utilize chicken bosoms in the event that you like. Be that as it may, I am utilizing chicken thighs since it packs a great deal of flavor. I've generally been an enthusiast of chicken thighs over bosoms. Since thighs are the "darker meat" contrasted with bosoms, in this way, they are more affordable. In any case, they are progressively delicate and stuffed with rich flavor.

Presently, I realize this dish looks extravagant, yet I guarantee it meets up in less than 30 minutes. The key is the heavenly rub we are going to use for the chicken. It's everything about building up that rich garlic season. I will utilize one of my preferred flavoring mixes from Primal Palate. Their Amoré flavoring mix is pressed with rich Italian flavors (yes I know, not Mediterranean flavors by any stretch of the imagination). Be that as it may, it contains a rich mix of garlic and dried herbs that are basic for this dish. Along these lines, on the off chance that you haven't knew about Primal Palate's flavors, nectar you have to place your request in right away!

  • 2 garlic cloves (finely minced)
  • 1/4 tsp. turmeric
  • 1/4 tsp. smoked paprika
  • 2 tbsp. freshly chopped parsley
  • 1/2 tsp. sea salt
  • 1/4 tsp. crack black pepper
  • 2 tbsp. ghee
  • 1 onion (sliced)
  • 1 red jalapeño (diced)
  • 1/4 cup organic chicken broth

  • 1 tbsp. Avocado oil
  • 2 12- ounce packages of frozen riced cauliflower
  • 2 scallions (finely chopped)
  • salt and pepper

  1. To begin, pat chicken thighs dry and cut them into cubes. Transfer the chicken to a mixing bowl and add the Amore/Italian seasoning, garlic, turmeric, paprika, parsley, sea salt, and black pepper. Toss the chicken to make sure it’s well coated.
  2. Now, heat 2 tablespoons of ghee in a deep skillet over high heat. Add the chicken and lower the heat to medium-high. Sear the chicken while continuously stirring for about 5-7 minutes or until the chicken starts to develop some color. Now, add the onions and jalapeño pepper, stir and sauté until the onions are tender, about 5-7 minutes. Then add the chicken broth to deglaze the pan. Lower the heat and simmer for 2-3 minutes. Then taste and season with more salt if necessary.
  3. In a separate non-stick skillet, heat the avocado oil over high heat and add the riced cauliflower. Sauté the cauliflower, continuously stirring, for 5-7 minutes until the cauliflower is tender. Then, stir in scallions and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Serve Chicken family style with the cauliflower rice.
