These turnip fries are an extraordinary low carb option in contrast to customary potato fries!
Have you eaten turnips previously? I can't state I have until I originally attempted this formula. Pre-low-carbing days I would eat parsnips or carrots on the off chance that I needed a root vegetable. So I was intrigued to discover that one medium turnip (approx. 4oz) contains just 6g net carbs altogether!
Be that as it may, what do you really DO with turnips? Indeed, you *can* eat them crude – they can be ground and added to servings of mixed greens – however the flavor is a lot more grounded. They can be flame broiled, simmered or pounded – fundamentally most methods for cooking that are utilized for potatoes can likewise be utilized for turnips.
