Strawberries and Cream Smoothie #drinks #springtime

It's springtime, strawberry season has arrived, and the climate is radiant and flawless in San Diego. I had an extraordinary run early today outside and came in and investigated the solidified strawberries in the cooler and realized I needed to utilize them.

I needed something mixed and sweet and rich to extinguish my thirst. This worked. Strawberry seeds in my teeth what not.

It is anything but a progressive "formula", however it sure is acceptable. It just pauses for a moment to make, and even less to drink. A gift and a revile.

  1.  1 to 1 1/2 cups frozen strawberries (big handful), fresh may be used although ice may be necessary
  2.  1/4 cup milk or cream (use your favorite milk or vegan milk, i.e. coconut milk cream, soy cream, etc.)
  3. sweetenter, to taste (sugar, stevia, agave, etc.)

  1. Put all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth and creamy. Depending on how many strawberries you used, their size, your blender, and your desired smoothie thickness and consistency, you may need more than 1/4 cup cream (I used about 1/2 cup), or add a splash of water, to reach desired consistency.
  2. Serve immediately. Leftover portion may be stored in the freezer for later consumption for up to 2 months. The smoothie does not change consistency and taste is not effected upon thawing.
