SPANISH ROSE SANGRIA #drinks #freshdrink

A wind on the great red wine based sangria, this rose sangria is ideal for an evening with companions.

We are on the cusp of spring and I was unable to be more joyful. The days are longer and furthermore hotter, which implies my beverage of decision is changing from heavier mixed drinks to more splendid, new drinks.

I was once in winter hibernation yet now I'm prepared to find companions – and what could be better than visiting over rose sangria. And keeping in mind that I thought a year ago was the late spring of rose I'm extending it to this year too.

  • 1 750ml bottle CV Tempranillo Rosé
  • 2 cups sparkling water
  • 1/4 cup Triple Sec Or Grand Marnier or Cointreau if that's what you have
  • 1 cup sliced peaches
  • 3/4 cup raspberries

  1. Pour CV Tempranillo Rosé into a pitcher.
  2. Add Triple Sec, sparkling water and fruit.
  3. Chill for a few hours and then taste for sweetness as the fruit will naturally sweeten the rose sangria. If needed add simple syrup. If it's too sweet add ice.
  4. Serve over ice.
